MHDM Retreat which was held from 26– 27 February 2011 at Fraser's Silverpark Resort was a great success. The retreat brought together members of the council, Co-opted members, selected elders, and representatives from the Youth and Ladies sections. The Retreat was held to identify the the strength and weakness found in MHDM and also to prepare action plans to move forward. Some of the highlights of the retreat were ice-breaking session, mission speech by the President, planning in groups, presentations, and oath taking. The participants were also given a tour of important places at Frasers. Many exiting plans/projects were identified to serve the Hindu/Indian community and also MHDM members. Everyone shared their thoughts and exhibited high enthusiasm to ensure MHDM shine as the top service oriented NGO to the Malaysian Hindu Community. The ultimate goal is to also receive global recognition. There is no doubt coming years are going to be exciting ones. Let us all do our service in the name God.
