Hinduism is the oldest living religion in the world, with its origins traced back to more than 5000 years ago in ancient India. Hinduism, known also as Sanatana Dharma or eternal truth, is a rich collection of various philosophical and spiritual traditions that form the core of the Indian belief system and culture. Despite the absence of an identifiable beginning or founding figure, or even a single central authority or religious establishment, all the different Hindu traditions share common beliefs and concepts that are deemed universal and eternal. The concepts of karma and reincarnation are indelibly connected to Hinduism, as are dharma and the immortal nature of the soul. Also central to Hinduism is tolerance and pluralism, perhaps best expressed by the diversity of traditions and practices within Hinduism but also extending to an acceptance of all religions and beliefs. One of the most important verses in the sacred Vedas of Hinduism is Sanskrit hymm "Ekam Sat, Viprah Bahudha Vadanti" - Rig Veda 1:164:46'Truth is One, men call it by different names.'

Hinduism is not just a faith. It is the union of reason and intuition that cannot be defined but is only to be experienced. Evil and error are not ultimate. There is no Hell, for that means there is a place where God is not, and there are sins which exceed his love.
