Malaysia Hindhudharma Mamandram has a track record of more than 25 years conducting religious courses. This course will be handled by renowned speakers and experienced lecturers. Main aspects covered include Hinduism (including history, religious texts, saints and sages, home pooja, temple worship, moral education, yoga), thinking and learning skills, motivation, moral education, discipline, forum, visit to cave temple, discussion and presentations.
The 2010 Hindu Dharma Basic and Intermediate Course is being held in Batu Caves, Selangor from December 14-18, 2010. The course is aimed at younger
Hindus, teaching them the basics of the Hindu religion through lectures and
speeches by a variety of speakers, religious games and activities, as well as
regular bhajan and yoga sessions.
Karunai Illam Visit by the Malaysia Hindu Dharma Mamandram (MHDM) Youth section.
MHDM Youth members Mr.Prasad, Ms.Shri,
Ms.Yamunah and Mr.Pugal along with a few other friends made a visit
to Karunai Illam on 1st August 2010. This event was
actually a follow-up to a project in December 2009, when the youths
brought a group of 20 children from Karunai Illam for a one day field
trip to FRIM, complete with a guided tour, educational explanations,
canopy walk and food. Since the previous event, the youths and their
friends have set up a small fund for social/welfare work to which
they contribute a small fund each month.

Presentation on the Hindu festival of Thaipusam by Malaysian Hindu Dharma Mamandram (MHDM) Deputy President Radhakrishnan Alagamalai A.M.N. for Tourism Malaysia. The presentation gives an overview of the Thaipusam festival as it relates to spiritual significance as well as its practice in Malaysia today. Thaipusam is one of the biggest religious celebrations in Malaysia, drawing millions of devotees and tourists to the main centers of Thaipusam - Batu Caves, Penang, and Ipoh.
Paper submitted to Malaysian Minister of Human Resources and MIC Secretary-General Y.B. Datuk Dr S. Subramaniam on July 31, 2008 at a meeting of non-governmental organizations (NGO) in Malaysia. The paper outlines the state of Hindus and Indians in the country as well as the efforts of Malaysia Hindu Dharma Mamandram (MHDM) to address the issues facing the community. The paper also has recommendations for the government to help the Hindus in Malaysia, including in the areas of religious education, Hindu temples, economic and social issues confronting Hindus as well as opportunities available to Malaysian Hindus.
